August Highlights & Fall Outlook

August Slowdown… summer heat, vacations, and uncertainty kept activity low, pushing most communities further into a Buyer’s market.

1. 💲 Stable Prices: Average sale prices showed only slight changes, keeping yearly averages steady.

2. 📈 Fall Outlook: With routines returning and a possible Bank of Canada rate cut on Sept. 17, we’re optimistic for a more active fall market.

• Front Street Farmers’ Market
  Every Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm, from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving weekend, visit downtown Trenton at 67 Front Street, along the scenic Trent-Severn Waterway. Explore a wide variety of vendors offering fresh fruits, veggies, baked goods, crafts, and more!

• Belleville Downtown Blues Festival
  Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 6! From 11 am to 8:30 pm, downtown Belleville will be filled with live blues music, great food, and unforgettable community vibes. Come join the celebration!

• Hops on the Water
  Join us on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11 am to 7 pm at the Front Street Farmers’ Market pavilion at 67 Front Street, for Quinte West’s popular craft beer festival, named one of Ontario’s Top 100 festivals by Festivals and Events Ontario three years in a row since 2022!
